Red and White Bravery awards ceremony, in its ninth year was held at Nehru Centre (Mumbai) last week. There were two categories in the awards, namely Physical Bravery and Social Act of Courage

This year awards were presented to eight persons, all of whom have risked their lives to save others

Or to those who have dedicated their lives for others. The Red and white Bravery awards is held every year to honor those unsung hero’s who have risen above and beyond the call of duty and proved that selflessness and compassion towards one’s fellow beings know no bounds.

They have always utilized top film stars depicting bravery through advertisements promoting their product. Along with the advertisements they also have actual award ceremony for bravery annually. Local politicians may give out awards. Press coverage is also given.
