One part of the campaign is the introduction of a symbol to mark the restaurants which can offer at least 30% non smoking places. The campaign also enclose information to the guests to make people recognize the symbol. The objectives of the campaign is to introduce a new norm for restaurants. The guests will always be offered a non smoking zone and they will find it natural to ask for non smoking zones.
The pilot project in Stockholm with its 1.700 restaurants is tested and evaluated during spring 1996.
