In Chile, smoking rates are 35%, but the prevalence is 55% in the 15 to 16 year old

group. Popular brands are "Life" and "Advance". Cigarettes can be bought

individually, and sales to children are legal. The total yearly budget for tobacco control

is $20,000, donated by the World Health Organization. In a Lucky Strike campaign, a

poster of a man on a motorcycle in Monument Valley, Arizona with the slogan "An

American Original" greets visitors on every available space at the Santiago airport.
