George W. Bush's top political aide is Karl Rove, who worked from 1991 to 1996 as a

consultant to Philip Morris. Bush in the late 1970's was on the board of the Midland,

Texas chapter of the American Cancer Society, and has signed a tough bill restricting

sales of cigarettes to minors in Texas. Bush "once smoked cigarettes and chewed

tobacco and is often seen with an unlit cigar in his mouth..."
