    Support Initiative: This measure will help local communities in the state of Louisiana to recognize the right of those who wish to breathe smoke-free air. It will help establish regulations to protect and improve the public health and welfare by prohibiting smoking in the workplace as permitted under Act 515 of the State of Louisiana Revised Code.

    This support would help local initiatives to be created. These initiatives would encourage local governments to work towards the creation and maintenance of city-wide, village-wide, town-wide and /or parish-wide ordinance prohibiting smoking in public places and workplaces.
